If Gran turismo becomes compatible, I’ll be all over this Playstation VR stuff!

That would probably the final push for me to build a dedicated sim rig. I am pretty excited for where gaming could go in the near future.

Yeah. It would make the cockpit build easier too.

I was down with Oculus early on, and would have bought a dev kit (strangely for trying to do some goofing around with 3d datavis, in addition to VR Hat Simulator 2), but my rig at the time was not powerful enough. Then, as later iterations came along, I became less enamored with the way they are running their software ecosystem and the controller-centric input decision. I was hoping that the Vive would be a bit more competitive on price, but I guess the sum of all the new peripherals packed in makes it pricier. As far as PSVR goes, I guess that, since I don’t intend to get a PS4, I’ll never use it. Same goes for Samsung, since I don’t intend to get a Galaxy.

Can’t say quite yet. I haven’t tried any of them, and I’m still waiting on reviews.

I think TheOnelectronic once posted about having used the Oculus Rift with Project Cars ; I’m looking forward to trying racing games with VR myself.
